I refuse to feed the machine, and until further notice, the machine will not collect my content going forward.

No amount of gaslighting myself that "things are ok, just keep publishing work, don't worry about your work being siphoned into the LLMs" will convince me to keep putting out on the net. Being a creator of things is something special, and it always will be no matter what the world is like. It just happens to be the stuff I have spent the last 10 years on suddenly came to a halt and the resulting ego death is putting me in limbo.

It's not burnout, because I can still work on projects just like normal. I'm the best I've ever historically been and I enjoy the process of writing songs, drawing, etc. The market has completely floored my enthusiasm to want to continue the online business aspects of things.

My moral standing on utilizing machine learning tools when it comes to my brand (evilneon) is a blurred line that I want to make clear. I refuse to blend my brand with techniques that I disagree with. I have made several creations using these tools and I am just fundamentally unhappy with the resulting product being really-polished-slop that makes myself feel cheated out of the right to say "I made that."

I wrote this with my own ability to think of words, proof-read, pull from diction, and the two eyes stuck to the front of my head. Amazing isn't it? This is probably the only real mashup I've made since 2020. It consists mostly of 128BPM Techno and HEM tracks I've made over the last 3 years. There's a lot of tracks that I'm rather happy with and are just about ready to go out the door as well, so you'll see it soonish! :)

I've got so much work to do on my own life that I've got only limited creative energy to spend, but I do remain! Lots of songs are around 80 to 90% done, just needs mastering/finalizing and the sort. I think yalls will like it <3

Music

There are tons of pieces of music being finalized, but I wouldn't expect a whole album to go out this year because I can't afford to release the music on record just yet.

• Information on "2022 (annual)" - I've uploaded it to YouTube, Spotify, Soundcloud, and soon enough I'll have it up on BandCamp when I work out the collaboration songs. Those other versions haven't been completed yet. +Cover art is already completed.
• Information on "2016 (revision 2022)" - 95% complete, I need to finalize the MV for YouTube, and upload it to the platforms. If you previously purchased "2016 (annual)" on BandCamp, I'll figure out a way to get this new version out to you as well. +Cover art is already completed.
• Information on next album? - I have a collection of about 10 or so songs that sound like they would fit together in a collection/album. Album title and art is being worked on as well. I don't have enough sheckles to release a full album of songs to spotify and all those other platforms with trackers and such. I want to make sure this goes out correctly this time. Although, maybe I'll put out my songs as 128kbps or something until they get "officially" released.

Art

• While the previously mentioned music is being finalized and ready to go out, I'm going through all my old unfinished art and seeing what I can share and finish. I really want to get a lot of those League of Legends, and Black Rock Shooter sketches done because I love the characters too much to just leave it forever unfinished :3

There are a lot of redraws and new ideas on the list, so I look forward to that when the time comes!

Streaming/Video CC

• Occasionally I stream some minecraft, though nothing wants to work the way I want them to and frustrates the shxt out of me. So I just don't stream often.
• I've given up LP's and such because of the same issue above ^. Though if I come up with some bizarre shxt thatls kinda fun, I'll share that to the secondary YouTube channel.

I have too many things on the plate and not enough money, or time. Gotta deal with it :P

Music Video mix goes live later today on YouTube ~ then the individual songs all on bandcamp, soundcloud, newgrounds! I'm excited to release it after 3 whole years of reworking, refining, and redoing a lot just because it just didn't work.

I know I've been a little quiet up until recently. that's because I don't like the pressure of "having to complete something massive in a short timeframe"

After this week though, I will go on a documented haitus of creative work since life has got some pressing shit to deal with. All of the current projects will be placed in the projects folders, waiting for the return, so essentially nothing is lost really! If I need to take longer, I will. The internet will always be around :]

If I make anything, it would likely be stickers or merch related to timeshift because I've always wanted to have something physical to show that I did something. I'll let ya know here~

I'll be going through some old artwork and touching them up in the next few weeks, replacing the old watermark tags with the final one to maintain consistency, and maybe find some much needed inspiration along the way~
